Connecting SeekaHost Domain to Shopify

Do you want to connect your domain to a Shopify account? When you register the domain with SeekaHost, the process is made easier by updating just three dns records and manually connecting to the Shopify account.
In this article, we’ll show you how you add the DNS records in your domain with SeekaHost to connect to Shopify.
What is Shopify?

With Shopify, you can quickly setup your first blog and customize them easily with their predefined templates.
How to Connect SeekaHost Domain to Shopify?
1. Update DNS Records in Domain DNS Management:
Step 1: Login to your SeekaHost client area.
Step 2: If you haven’t registered any domains, you can register a new domain with SeekaHost
Step 3: Click the Domain section to see the list of domains registered with us.
Step 4: Select the domain, that you want to connect to Shopify and click ‘Manage’ button.
Step 5: Click “Nameserver” option and confirm if you are using the domain default nameserver as below:
ns1.systemdns.com
ns2.systemdns.com
ns3.systemdns.com
Step 6: To update the Shopify DNS records for your domain , click the ‘DNS Management’ option.
Step 7: To update the A record, enter the details as follows and then click the “Save” button.
- Record Type: A (Address)
- Address: 23.227.38.65
Step 8: To update the CNAME record, enter the details as follows and then click the “Save” button.
- Host Name: www
- Record Type: CNAME (Alias)
- Address: shops.myshopify.com

2. Connect SeekaHost Domain to Shopify:
Step1: Login to your Shopify account.
Step 2: Search “Domains” in the search bar and click “Domains” option.
Step 3: Click ‘Connect existing domain’ button.
Step 4: Type the domain name and click next.
Note: In Shopify, it may take up to 48 hours for your domain to be verified. If not verified, please reach out to the Shopify team for more information.
